A full-stack web application inspired by Khet 2.0 (Laser Chess), where players maneuver mirrored pieces on a grid to direct a laser beam and eliminate the opponent's king. Built with React 18 on the frontend and a Node.js/Express backend, the game supports real-time multiplayer via Socket.IO using a 4-character session code system, a single-player AI opponent, and step-by-step animated laser physics with full reflection and destruction logic.
A shared deterministic game engine runs identically on both client and server, eliminating logic drift between game modes. Multiplayer sessions are persistent — players can reconnect mid-game across devices, and mobile tab-switching is handled automatically via the browser visibility API. The project includes 21+ Jest unit tests covering move validation, laser physics, and win conditions.

A community-driven platform for San Diego natives who've relocated and are on the hunt for taco shops that feel like home — California burritos, rolled tacos, carne asada fries, fish tacos. Built with PHP 8.2 on the backend using Slim 4 as a micro-framework with a DI container, raw PDO against MariaDB, and Alpine.js + Tailwind CSS on the frontend with no build step required.
The platform features passwordless magic-link authentication, a multi-step submission pipeline with drag-and-drop photo upload and PHP GD image processing (EXIF rotation, resize, JPEG recompression), and a hybrid trust-based moderation system. Full email deliverability stack — SPF, DKIM, and DMARC all passing. OpenAI GPT-4o Vision and Google Places API stubs are wired and ready to activate.
A published Firefox browser extension that automates tab refreshing on fully customizable intervals. Navigate to any page, set a refresh interval in seconds, and the extension handles the rest — with your settings persisting across browser restarts and the toolbar icon providing at-a-glance active/inactive status.
Built entirely with standard WebExtension APIs and no external dependencies, the extension uses content-script-injected timers to avoid Firefox's background script throttling — enabling reliable sub-10-second intervals. Safety guards prevent execution on system pages. Published and signed through Mozilla's official review process, listed publicly on the Firefox Add-ons store under MIT license.
